What's your business, and who are your customers?
MNM ProLabs was founded in July 2020 and was created with a passion and vision to deliver the best multi-functional line of supplements in the industry. Tell us about yourself
After serving 23 years in the United States Army, I created MNM ProLabs, a Vitamins and Supplements brand, which I funded myself out of Tampa, Florida. I could never really find one supplement brand that had everything I needed to meet my fitness goals.
I wanted to create a supplement brand that was able to meet everyone's needs and wants while producing exceptional results. That is why I created MNM ProLabs, a supplement brand that has a wide variety of vitamins, sports nutrition, men's health, women's health, general health, superfoods, and now most recently adding, CBD products.
Most importantly, I have used every product we sell. I can validate the quality and potency of every product and have a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product to ensure it's safe. I've always had a passion for helping others after serving in the United States Army for 23 years as a medic. My dream is to eventually build a Sports Complex to help athletes gain exposure by giving them a place to display their skill level to seek out opportunities to advance in their careers.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We currently are partnered with Rank-Up Athletics, Kinetix Health Clubs, Llanos Racing, and Get It From The Mud Recruiting. Because of these new partnerships, we are now involved with United Football League and other semi-pro football teams, helping potential prospects along with Rank-Up Athletics get professional contracts with the NFL, CFL, UFL, XFL, and the Arena Football League. We have plans of potentially managing our very own semi-pro football team with Rank-Up Athletics in the near future.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
A recent study conducted on the supplement industry reveals that the market has become much more intensely competitive over the last decade. As a matter of fact, you have to be highly creative, customer-centric, and proactive if you must survive in this industry. I've been made aware of the stiff competition, and we are prepared to compete favorably with other leading competitors throughout the world.
One thing is certain; we will ensure that we always have a wide range of supplements available in our online store. We currently have over 100 premium supplements as well as options for apparel and accessories. We make it difficult for customers to visit and not see the type of supplements that they are looking for. One of our business goals is to make MNM ProLabs, LLC, a one-stop supplements shop. Our excellent customer service culture, online store, various payment options, and highly secured facility will serve as a competitive advantage for us.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It's been a fairly smooth road with many blessings along the way. We found the best way to market is through partnerships and collaborations. We try to attend and sponsor at least five events every year. We have 11 scheduled this year!
We sponsor many events, including the Smash Open, which is a powerlifting event in Bonita Springs, FL. We attend at least two Mel Chancey NPC Bodybuilding Classics a year, along with setting up a table on-site at local Gyms. We also are at the Rank-Up Athletics Pro-Scouting Bowls, which are held every other month.
Lastly, I would say having some type of Ambassador program. We've been pretty successful in having this program. We currently have over 40 Ambassadors. They all have personal coupon codes that we track and offer incentives. Game changer!
