What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help women get off the diet roller coaster by teaching them not to diet better but to make diets unnecessary.

Tell us about yourself

I started this business as a keto coach but realized that keto is not the "answer" for everyone, and I wanted to broaden my outlook to be more inclusive of all healthy eating styles but to mainly address emotional eating, which is the downfall of every woman's attempt at dieting.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have a published book (Breaking Free from Diet Prison) and a very successful podcast, "Roadmap to Diet Success," and these two things, in particular, have showcased and underscored my desire to help women cut the string of that yo-yo diet!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing for me, personally, is to engage in (all) social media to get myself known. I can help hundreds and thousands of women, but I can't do it unless I also wear the hat of a MARKETER.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Understand and use social media for marketing.
  2. Be consistent with your output.
  3. Keep growing. Don't grow your business at the expense of your relationships and time for yourself, and don't go down the "development rabbit hole." At some point, you have to just jump in and do it!
