What's your business, and who are your customers?

Founded on a vision of excellent quality in aromatherapy, Miracle Botanicals has become a trusted source for high-quality essential oils, blends, hydrosols, resins, and beauty products over the past 11 years. Whether they are new to essential oils, seasoned aromatherapists, or anywhere in between, our customers are mainly those who prefer to live on the lighter, brighter side of life and holistically address issues as they arise.

Tell us about yourself

I couldn't find any good quality essential oils in my local area, and I was trying to find better sources than I could purchase from retailers. I realized I could start a business and supply people with quality essential oils at a lower price than the big multilevel marketing companies. I was also inspired by the potential to join with everyone who receives my products by using the oil to extend love. I'm motivated daily by the healing of patterned trauma that's made possible with each transaction and interaction. Plus, the whole process smells amazing!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have emotionally evolved employees who are enthusiastic about essential oils and who take great care of our customers.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Surrendering the need to know how things are going to turn out. All those business goals belong to no one and are being processed by the mind automatically. There's no need to interfere with the process, but identification as an ego makes it difficult to see this.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Wait for inspiration instead of trying to force yourself to act. Inspired action is the result you want right now. You may be inspired to lay down and take a nap right now.
  2. Start with your own shopping channel, like Shopify. Use platforms like Amazon, but don't build your whole business there. Platforms can delist you or show your products less at any time and without notice.
  3. Don't do it for money. Money is a false motivator. It only leads to mental anguish.

Miracle Botanicals operates from its own home and gardens in Hawaiian Paradise Park. The founders continue to serve Miracle Botanical's customers alongside four employees who are also passionate about high frequency aromatherapy medicine, excellent customer service, and clear, transparent communication.
