Mindfulness coaching for individuals online and groups in festival and retreat settings.
Tell us about yourself
Meditation and mindfulness completely transformed my life and have gradually evolved into something I have shared and guided others through over the past eight years. From creating Mindful Nature Walks, taking people on relaxing meditative walks in London parks for free, to facilitating a retreat in 2020, when the pandemic hit, I decided to focus on the online world and teach one-to-one with clients. It is such an honour to be a part of peoples' journey into their exploration of the self, connecting deeply with nature and uncovering all there is with this beautiful practice.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Doing what I love and that I believe helps others.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Because I am applying the ethos of mindfulness to this venture, I feel I am avoiding the hardest thing about business pressure to make as much money as possible at the cost of mental health and precious time. This business will be whatever it will be, and that feels good.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Feel the imposter syndrome and do it anyway, as long as you care about what you are doing. Personally, it felt good to have other projects happening, so I wasn't operating from a place of sink or swim financially, but that's a judgment call. Oh, also, you can't please everyone! Keep the faith, knowing your business and service will work for those it is meant for.
