What's your business, and who are your customers?

We work with high-performing teams to improve health and productivity through science-backed mindfulness tools, positive psychology, and neuroscience as part of our signature Mindfulness at Work program.

Tell us about yourself

I started my career working with various high-growth tech companies and discovered meditation as a way to deal with the stress, anxiety, and insomnia I was experiencing.

Meditation changed my life so drastically that I spent three years training to become a teacher. I understand what it feels like to feel stressed out and overwhelmed — because I've been there.

Nothing brings me more joy than sharing the powerful tools that have changed my life and helping other people find their own path to a healthy, balanced life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible companies and leaders and participate in beautifully curated wellness events. However, my biggest accomplishment is seeing the progress that clients and teams make and how these practices change their lives as well.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Where do I start? It's made to look glamorous in the media, but it truly isn't for everyone. A lot of hard work goes in behind the scenes, including a lot of personal sacrifices and late nights. But it's so worth it if you're truly passionate about what you're doing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Network, network, network! (Even if it's virtual).
  2. Find things you can automate from the beginning.
  3. Don't make your business 100% reliant on you.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Don't overthink things; just get started.
