What's your business, and who are your customers?

Millionaire Traders Society is an education trading platform. We cater to those that have small to large capital and want to learn the power of investing. This includes forex, stock options & crypto education. Our company has helped traders as young as 10 years old to retirement become successful by becoming an independent, successful trader. This is done by creating content that is easy for anyone to digest and explaining the markets in terms "regular" people understand. There really isn't a need to make it so difficult.

Tell us about yourself

I was a Property Manager for 13 years and had a very successful career. When my oldest was born, he was diagnosed with Autism. His demands started to interfere with my work schedule, and I had to make a career change. I tried affiliate marketing at first, and it was great, but the demand was still there, and it was taking me away from my boys. A buddy of mine suggested I look into trading because it would allow me to have my own schedule. He referred me to his mentor, and it was golden after that.

After being quiet for a bit, people from other businesses I worked with reached out and were curious about what I was doing since I stopped affiliate marketing. I shared my trading journey with them, and they asked me to show them what I had been doing. I did just that, and surprisingly they had success! They started telling people how much I helped them, and that is literally how Millionaire Traders Society has grown to 6,000 students. Every student is from word of mouth or someone that follows me on social media.

With the success of the school, I was recognized for my work by Alyse Amores and was offered a teaching position with an educational-based investing company called Eaconomy. I now teach in over 50+ countries and am continuing to change more lives than I could ever imagine (teaching stock options). My family is my biggest motivation & having the freedom to be there for them is priceless. That is all thanks to my trading and teaching career.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The lives we have changed is the biggest accomplishment! Being able to show "regular" people how to trade and see them actually understand the content is one of the best feelings in the world. The team and I are changing lives, and there isn't a better feeling in the world.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Balancing my passion for helping others and making time for my family. Teaching can become demanding at times, and my passion for it can sometimes result in me making work my priority. I am working on it and have gotten better with time management. Thankfully, I have the support of my team: Ivan Canales, Brianna Lara, Didier Reyes, Raquel Brown, Virginia Davis, Mek & Trakelia Jimserson. I couldn't do this without them!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do not wait for things to be perfect. That is just a reason to make excuses and take longer to get started. Go ahead and start, and you will fix things as they go. Take the feedback and not-so-smooth moments as guidance on how to move forward.
  2. Never stop learning. Don't be afraid to ask questions from those you are inspired by. There will always be room for growth.
  3. Love what you do! Yes, we all want to make money, but if you focus on just money, it will always feel like a job. When you are passionate about your business, everything flows and positive things will come your way in abundance.
