What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is a flower shop. The flowers make people happy, and it has been used for a very long time for every occasion. Anyone can be my customer if they like to give their special person a gift that makes them happy for sure.

Tell us about yourself

I love working with plants and flowers; very relaxing job; I take any of my orders very seriously, from a single rose to a large bouquets. I love how people react when they receive their flowers. I try to do all my deliveries just to make sure the customer are happy with the flowers and the service, their reaction every time make me very happy, and I love my job even more.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Gain customers satisfactions, and have so many regular customers for years.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

We have to deal with all the expenses in a slow time since this product is mainly seasonal or just for special occasions, so it's not guaranteed to have a fixed income. COVID was a big proffer of losing so much in a short time, making it harder to recover.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. They have to be willing to give it %100 of their attention and details.
  2. Check their location, and if what they are thinking to do will work in that location, and customers will be able to find them.
  3. They can afford it; if they want to make money, they have to spend money and get good quality products.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I like it very much if people support small businesses and stop comparing them to big stores like Costco and Walmart. Our cost of any products, unfortunately, is higher than what all these big stores sales
