I'm a freelance writer. My customers are the readers who purchase my books!
Tell us about yourself
I have wanted to write ever since I was little. Creative writing has always been my passion. I enjoy creating characters and worlds that will far outlive me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Maintaining enough income to sustain myself as a writer. Unfortunately, not many writers are able to do this.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being a freelancer means you're much more dependent on other people to do what they say they'll do (like pay you) when they say they'll do it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a good idea of what your services are worth.
- Make sure you're ready to work weekends and holidays.
- Always have a backup, and a backup on top of that, and yet another backup.
