What's your business, and who are your customers?
I work as a brand and marketing advisor to Health and Wellness organizations across the globe. I help them find their unique position in the market, attract new patients, and scale their practices. My customers range from solo practice owners to large health systems.
Tell us about yourself
I worked for various companies as a product designer, art director, brand designer, and marketing associate. I was laid off 2x in one year. I was devastated and extremely devalued in my current position. It was then I decided I was through allowing other people to dictate my life and said I would make it on my own! I had 3 months of savings and hired a business coach to help me. It took 3 months to get my first client! That was 10 years ago, and since then, I've helped 100s of business owners build authentic brands and market their businesses. I truly believe when you know your worth, there isn't anything you can't do!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping people find their purpose and bringing clarity for them to move forward with their business with alignment and understanding.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding balance - burnout. Without a balance, it's easy to get burnt out and stressed.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Always do more than what's expected; charge your worth - especially us women! You're just as worthy of charging as much as your male associates, and never stop meeting new people and being of service to them.
