What's your business, and who are your customers?
Lately, our customers are those looking to take a Reiki Class, and we are growing with our customers! We primarily have been working with people struggling with anxiety, time management, financial stress, health issues, grief, or anything blocking someone from feeling vibrant and happy... we work together to heal.
We use Reiki and PSYCH-K, the latter being an easy and fun modality to change a subconscious belief in about 2 minutes. It is life-changing. As people heal physically and emotionally, the natural next step is often spiritual! So I am beginning to guide through Reiki Certification classes as well but still offering 1:1 Healing Sessions as the heart of what I do. Our business is designed to make healing simple.
Tell us about yourself
Intuition. It's absolutely what got me started in my business. I knew I wanted to create an online course to help my 1:1 clients dive deeper into healing; then, within 15 minutes, I had an entire course written out by my intuition for teaching intuition! I had no idea at the time that intuition would be such a strong driver in my work, but it is what started and keeps me going every day.
What motivates me the most is the feedback and testimonials we get. Watching how easily people heal from trauma and go on to feel joy, peace, a stronger sense of self, or more connection to their partners and kids, motivates me. Watching the world become more peaceful one session at a time.
I wasn't always a happy person. In fact, I struggled with depression for decades. That is a long time to not want to be alive. Fast forward to now, I can't express how beautiful I think life is. This is 100% due to PSYCH-K. That modality has allowed me to fully become the happy and people-loving person I am today. I love working with people, teaching energy work and intuition, and helping others drop their own depression, anxiety, or insecurities.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My online courses, it may not sound like much. And while my driving factor for the online Meditation and Intuition course is absolutely to help my clients and students, I always find it's exactly what I also need!! Teaching meditation in a way that heals trauma and how to hear and follow your intuition has brought my practices to deeper levels allowing me to change how I show up for others.
I think this is what matters most; we can feel happy and fulfilled, so then we have extra to give back to others. And this is what the courses have accomplished for me.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I am looking forward to discovering how to use paid advertisements soon. I see my business as an extension of my joy. A way to naturally share what my soul wants to share. It's not difficult, but I think figuring out ads may change this opinion, haha.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Follow your intuition.
- Meditate if you cannot hear it, this will clear space to allow it to lead you and your business.
- Manage your stress, and allow the growth of your business (no matter the speed) to be fun!
