What's your business, and who are your customers?

meetus@US is a German/American full-service global Executive & Leadership Development Firm. Our customers or companies are mostly out of the automotive/ manufacturing and machinery industry.

Tell us about yourself

When we immigrated to the US 10 years ago, the idea was (for my wife and me) to bundle our skills and experience of 30 years and offer it to our clients. My motivation is to interact with people on a daily base, and I can work independently!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would say the biggest accomplishment is that we have found and started this company from scratch in a country with great opportunities but also with the competition.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

We only get paid on commission and only when our clients hire someone through us. You never know what you will earn next month, that's why you have to stay always busy and have as many clients as possible under contract!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You have to be all in and 100% committed!
  2. Don't wait till it's perfect; just start now( you can adjust later).
  3. Build a team as soon as possible; only with great people can you grow!
