What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the founder of Me2We Global, a boutique coaching practice dedicated to helping leaders and their organizations develop key leadership behaviors for today's world of work and create a workplace where people grow and thrive together. We provide high-value programs and tailored services to develop leaders in three domains: ADAPTIVITY, INCLUSIVITY, and INTEGRATION. We work with local and international leaders, who want to make positive changes in mindset and behaviors to better lead themselves, their teams, and their organizations. We help them be, feel and do great. In the past 10 years, I have coached hundreds of leaders from all over the world and from a wide range of sectors.
Tell us about yourself
I am a multi-certified and ICF-accredited executive coach (PCC), facilitator, and trainer specializing in leadership and organizational behavior in a global setting. My approach and process combine a goal-oriented approach with creative techniques, and it is grounded in behavioral science and the foundations of neuroscience. I have a mix of personal and work experiences, which have equipped me with the skills and tools to understand organizations' dynamics and the role of leaders in local, international, and diverse contexts. Born and raised in Italy, I have lived and worked in 9 countries around the world. I speak three languages fluently: Italian, English, and Spanish. The many international transitions and exposure to different cultures have helped me develop the ability to leverage diversity, to think in unconventional ways, and to use change as an opportunity for growth. In terms of career, I had the privilege to work for high-caliber global organizations. As a Marketing Manager, I led multifunctional teams across Europe and advanced my visioning and strategic thinking as well as interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. I am people-oriented, self-directed, and highly committed.
After 10 years in the corporate world, I felt the desire to transition to a people-oriented role. I felt I wanted to support and develop people at work and help them overcome their challenges, be more successful and live a fulfilling life. So, I first took an MSc in Organizational Psychology, then several certifications, including the Advanced Coaching Certificate from Columbia University (NewYork, USA) and the Intercultural Training Certificate with The Interchange Institute (A. Copeland, USA). I continue my personal and professional enrichment through further accreditations, readings, seminars, and coaching supervision.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Doing good! Through my coaching practice, I can reach many leaders and help them become stronger and happier versions of themselves. I love my job, and I firmly believe that coaching is a powerful tool that can help people grow and live their lives with more intention and fulfillment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner can feel lonely at times, especially for someone like me who was used to working in a big organization. I like to feel part of a community; therefore, I try to surround myself with like-minded and energetic people: they can be people who share my passion (ex., other coaches) or people who complement my skills and help me run my business (ex. my social media manager).
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be clear about what you offer and who your client is.
- Create a support system, people who can cheer you up and help you also with practical stuff.
- Believe in yourself and your idea, and disconnect from those who don't!
