What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are an outsourced operations agency changing the world by building up our client's businesses for sustainable success. We do this through in-depth process development, custom tech stack builds and automation, as well as thoughtful team design & development. We love working with service-based businesses, digital agencies, and non-profits founded by women, LGBTQIA+ folx, and people of color.

Tell us about yourself

I got my first leadership role in 2007, and it really inspired me to seek out more of these opportunities at every job I had. I had just started freelancing in Jan. 2020, and when the pandemic hit, my business grew and gave me the opportunity to leave corporate and further my mission. I truly believe that our work is changing the world on a micro level by supporting businesses that historically have less access to resources.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have been able to maintain profitability from day one, sometimes just barely, but I have always been in the black.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The cycle of being in client work, marketing your business, running the internal operations, and maintaining cash flow - the ride can get exhausting sometimes.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Identify some things you really like doing.
  2. Research to find a market need for your skill(s).
  3. JUST DO IT!
