What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am Marie, a business consultant, life coach, and motivational speaker at Seek Coaching. I help business owners keep their doors open by ensuring they remain compliant with all aspects of their business on both the federal and state levels. My expertise includes technology, HR services, HRG, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Worker's Compensation, Health & Benefits, and 401k. I also offer corporate coaching, which has been shown to improve employee retention, productivity, and sales. Additionally, I coach individuals, groups, businesses, enterprises, nonprofits, churches, and schools. I deliver my services in person, online, or by telephone and offer a variety of coaching options, including 10-minute "laser" coaching sessions on the phone, half-hour in-person sessions, full-day training programs for companies, and weekend retreats for groups of individuals. I am also the author of the book "You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry," which allows me to share my personal story about the challenges I faced and how I overcame them to be where I am today. My message is simple, realistic, and inspiring, and as a Breast Cancer Survivor, I have cultivated a relationship with the American Cancer Society and have been invited multiple times to be a guest speaker at various ACS events. I am always looking for ways to inspire and uplift others to make a difference in the world, starting with people recognizing the true potential that is held within themselves.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Marie C. Zoutomou- Quintanilla, and I am an inspirational speaker that wants to inspire others to accomplish great things. After I survived cancer, I began to think deeply about my purpose in the word and my calling. My goal in life is to help others now. I began with volunteer speaking engagements for the American Cancer Society and released my motivational book, "You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry." The book encompasses the truth behind the struggles everyone goes through in life and how faith will help anyone get past life's challenges. It was written with the intention to inspire others who are enduring a loss, tragedy, illness, or life-changing event to keep going and not lose sight of what matters. As I face my own struggles in life, I always aspire to keep a positive attitude, faith, and the ability to inspire others to strive for a better future. Marie is motivated to help 1 million or more souls to live their best life in 2023.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is inspiring others. I am the author of the motivational book "You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry." The book encompasses the truth behind the struggles everyone goes through in life and how faith will help anyone get past life's challenges. I have also taken this concept to both radio and television.
I am the producer of the Live Your Best Life channel and host of the TV show "You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry." The show is available to watch via the Binge Network app on over 100 Smart TVs and AppleTV, Google Play, Roku, and 300 more outlets. "You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry" is a show about educating oneself, providing everyday life tips, sharing life stories, and improving our quality of life.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come to mind is just having the faith to start any business. The key is to stay true to yourself and just start.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do what you're good at.
- Don't give up.
- Be willing to try a different way of doing things until you get it right.
