What's your business, and who are your customers?
I work in residential real estate in New Orleans and specialize in Historic Homes. I stem from an extensive background in new construction and development. Being a veteran myself, I also thoroughly enjoy VA home loan purchases!
Tell us about yourself
I grew up walking through construction sites and watching This Old House with my dad. I believe that stoked my passion for all things real estate. After my stint in the military, I opted to give it a try and have loved it every day since! I say there is never a bad day looking at cool houses!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I feel the biggest accomplishment is all of the cool clients I have collected over the years! Nearly every person I help turns into a friend, if not secondly family, coining the term “forever-agent!”.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest challenges with being a business owner is the fear of being a business owner! I think that too many people are afraid to branch out on their own and take the leap of faith. Yes, being a business owner adds more to your plate to learn to delegate, but to me, it gives me a sense of stability and freedom.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just start. Take the first step
- Figure out what brings you the most joy and focus on that niche.
