I provide Advisory Support - Coaching and Health Education for individuals and families managing the complexities of daily life.
Tell us about yourself
I live in New York City. I am a single mom of 19-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). I was raised and trained as a Medical Professional in Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of the Spanish region of Catalonia. What first got me to start working on my business was when I suffered through a misdiagnosis.
When I was a child, I had an accident that no one in my family recognized, and it caused irreparable damage to my hearing. Fortunately, after a very difficult period for a little girl, my family found the necessary support and a correct diagnosis to help me to cope and excel despite my disability. Since then, I have decided to focus my professional life dedicated to work with patients who have neurodevelopmental and related disabilities, improving care, education, and disease prevention.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My work and daily effort that is reflected by demonstrating success.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Primarily dealing with the daily unknowns and every day facing new challenges and obstacles to deal with because health care is never predictable, no matter how prepared you are.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Stay focused on being yourself, be prepared to make sacrifices, and ultimately always provide great service.
