What's your business, and who are your customers?

The name MANSSION comes from "Man on a Mission," and we create premium jewelry designed for everyday wear. We offer a wide variety of high-quality, durable pieces and use only the best materials, such as real gold, pure silver, and globally-sourced natural stones. All of our products are designed by us, so you won't find them anywhere else. Our customers are typically men between the ages of 21 and 45 who like to look great and stand out from the crowd with clean, minimal jewelry.

Tell us about yourself

My best friend and I decided to start MANSSION because we were unimpressed with the options for men's jewelry. Nobody had it all: the product, the brand, the voice. So we decided to do it better. We design confidence that can be worn with quality that can be trusted. We don't fit in; we stand out.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One thing I always pride myself on is finding incredibly talented people and creating strong, lasting relationships with them. Growing a business is all about the people on your team, so when you have partners who are knowledgeable, driven, and aligned, it makes it easier to focus on continuous improvement and bringing more value to your customers.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

What gets your business to $100k is not what gets your business to $1M, and what gets your business to $1M is not what gets it to $10M, and so on. So one of the challenges we have really loved and embraced is constantly figuring out how to get to the next level.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find something you can stay passionately obsessed with.
  2. Find mentors and people smarter than you and ask unlimited questions.
  3. Don't quit, no matter what.
