What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Energy Medicine. I practice three different types of Reiki. Reiki is an alternative medicine method that uses energy as a means to activate the body's ability to heal itself. It helps to release anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, burnout, emotional and mental blocages, repressed emotions and traumas, body pains and aches, and more. It also boosts the immune system, releases toxins from the body, increases life force energy, cleanses the aura, and balances chakras. Awakens the spiritual consciousness and brings back harmony, well-being, and balance into one's life. My clients range from women and men of all ages to children dealing with anxiety, stress, ADHD, OCD, etc. Everyone comes in order to center themselves and let go of what no longer serves them so that new doors can open and let abundance enter their lives.

Tell us about yourself

I was always spiritual as a child. I didn't know anything about Energy Healing back then, but I knew I had come to this Earth to heal people. As a teenager, I went through a series of dark experiences, especially bullying, and spirituality was my anchor. I was always meditating and praying alone in my room, talking to God and asking why I was going through these harsh and hurtful experiences. I always heard that they would serve to help others and never to give up. I asked many times for answers. And the answers came in the form of spiritual teachers and Reiki masters who opened the way to my path as an Energy worker and helped me heal my own traumas. What motivates me each day is wanting everyone to be filled with love, light, and serenity and to be healed from their traumas because after suffering emotionally for so many years and doing the healing work, I've attained that. I want to spread that to the world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is launching my apothecary and selling my products in a renowned supplement store called Nature Santé here in Montreal. I have herbal blends for different purposes that I'll be selling in my apothecary as well. My most popular one is the Fertility blend which has helped numerous clients of mine to get pregnant.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is managing many different things at once. Many are not my area of expertise, like creating a website, marketing, accountability, legal matters, etc.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Learn to delegate. Growing a business alone takes more time than when you have a team of people who can work on the things that aren't your strengths or your areas of expertise.
  2. Pursue your passion. When you really work towards what truly passionates you, it will feel effortless, and the challenges and obstacles will feel less discouraging than if you were pursuing something you have no interest in.
  3. Be patient and don't compare yourself to others. We all have different perspectives on what success is, and some may attain it faster than we do; others may attain it slower than we do. The most important thing we should focus on is our own path and trust we will reach our destination in the right divine timing.
