What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a sales consultancy. We work with B2B organizations that want to win more deals faster.

Tell us about yourself

I went to law school and, after graduation, discovered I sucked as a lawyer. I ended up working in retail and falling in love with sales. Seven years later, I started my own software company. After I was done with that company, I started consulting on the side. I ended up joining one of my clients, but it only lasted about a month (bad fit), and I decided that it was best to just work for myself. Through sales, I have created a good life. So for me, what motivates me is the ability to change people's financial future for the better.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have helped many individuals reach their financial goals. From helping 24 companies exit in the last 5 years to coaching countless reps to beat their quota.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Managing the business as opposed to having the business managing you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Start, there is never a right time. Consistency, work on your business every day. Purpose, find the reason that will continue to motivate you even when times are tough.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Running a business is tough but especially in the first few years. When things are tough, you are anxious; when things are good, you are anxious and full of doubt. You are not alone in those feelings.
