What's your business, and who are your customers?

Lyfelinez is the premium in Health/Wellness and sports supplementation for work, rest, and play.

Tell us about yourself

I founded Lyfelinez after over a decade spent working for/growing, and managing some of the largest sports and energy drinks brands in the world. I have a passion for all things health and fitness and have seen a gap in the market for innovation in hydration. This, coupled with a personal desire to help provide healthy alternatives and do my bit to try to make the world a healthier place, founding a brand to do has been in the back of my mind for years. I am motivated by achieving things others would shun and driven by having ideas and, despite the barriers making them work, figuring the solution out and making my goals into reality.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I founded a company bootstrapped valued at £9.3m within in 3yrs in my spare time whilst holding down a job as commercial director at monster energy in GB which then led me to win entrepreneur of the year in 2022.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The start of the journey is always the hardest when you are working alone on an idea that very few others can see.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I have four personal mantra's I live by:

Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Nothing is impossible.
You are the sum of your environment.
There are no such things as failures, just lessons.

The person you become embracing these is the person who can then make things happen that others cannot. Yes, it may take time, and yes, it may take money, but with those grounding principles, I truly believe you cannot fail.
