What's your business, and who are your customers?

Faith-based women who want to learn how to apply their own makeup properly and grow in their faith. We also support charities that are giving back to women who are single mothers.

Tell us about yourself

I've been a makeup artist for 21 years, and my makeup career has become my ministry. The women who left my chair changed from the inside and out - inspire me each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

That I'm able to use the talents God gave me for His glory, to help His children.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Knowing people may reject what you have to share, but you do it anyway because of the love God has given you for them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Go for what's been placed on your heart and if you have fear, do it afraid anyway!
  2. Stay consistent and have a partner to hold yourself accountable.
  3. Stay humble and never stop learning. The moment you stop learning is when you stop growing.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We have a one-day hands-on workshop that will be taking place in the heart of Studio City, where we will be learning how to create a makeup look that will last throughout the day -as well as transitioning it to an evening look- all while connecting each step to powerful, encouraging, and life-changing scripture!
