Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Ari Holtzer, founder of Lucid Life Ltd., located in Toronto, ON, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
LucidLife is a leadership coaching company that helps you build character spiritually. We also run workshops and host a co-living pop-up in Collingwood in late summer 2022. Growing up, I had many struggles, and I found spirituality to be a way of life that could help me drastically improve my life. For the last 15 years, I have implemented many tools like writing, meditation, and connecting with others to thrive and help others. The people who typically come to us are looking to improve their relationships, change their own behaviour and accomplish goals.
Tell us about yourself
When COVID started, I doubled down on my spiritual growth as I knew it could potentially be a challenging time. It was a great opportunity to grow, and six months in, I got inspired in meditation to coach others. To be able to help others learn these spiritual tools I have been practicing in my life is such a blessing. It motivates me to see the results that I have with my clients and workshop participants.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is having the freedom to live the life that I want and not compromise. I left my job and have been travelling Europe since January 2022 and am training for a half-ironman. It is exciting to learn about other people's goals and help them get there.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The most challenging aspect of being a business owner is developing emotional resilience for all the ups and downs that are inevitable. It is critical for me to manage mine so I can be present for those who need my help.
