Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jenna Longo, Owner of Long Life Wellness, located in Caledon, ON, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I’m an Eating Psychology and wellness coach. I help those who have issues around food and eating or unwanted eating behaviours or need to improve their health.
Tell us about yourself
My job has many fascists. I’ve always had a passion for helping others feel better. If I can help clients feel better in their own skin and become more accepting of themselves while working towards a healthier lifestyle, that in itself is very rewarding.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The trust that people have in me and their willingness to open up and ask for help is a success on both sides.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I’m a very empathetic person and digging deep into people's emotions is necessary but challenging at times.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a plan.
- Ask for support from others, and
- If you’re passionate about what you do, it will grow.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I’m grateful to have been a small part of improving people's health, wellness, and life in some way or another.
