What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I'm most excited about the opportunity we have at Lomi to really make an impact on the planet. It's great to make money and sell products, but there's nothing quite as satisfying as doing the planet a solid and knowing I'm doing my part to ensure the future of my kids + grandkids.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being responsible for the livelihood of others. Every entrepreneur dreams of growing their company into a big brand, but we don't often realize the weight that comes with knowing that the lives of hundreds or thousands of people depend on you making the right decisions.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Hire people who are smarter than you are.
- Let them do what they do without getting in the way.
- Be a source of support + guidance when needed - but don't micromanage.
