Launch And Grow An Abundant Business - Liz Wolfe Coaching

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Liz Wolfe, Founder of Liz Wolfe Coaching, located in New York, NY, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a business coach for new entrepreneurs. I help them to get unstuck so they can launch and grow an abundant business.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up on a sheep farm in western Pennsylvania, and we had a cottage industry selling woolen items that we made on the farm. My mother was a skilled artisan and a good saleswoman but a terrible businesswoman. I left the farm after college and started my own business helping small businesses to implement CRM systems. After many years, I shifted my focus from technology to helping new entrepreneurs to get their businesses started. I am inspired to do the work that I do because I saw how much my mother struggled with her business. I know there's an easier and better way, so I focus on helping people to make their dreams a reality.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being a business partner with my husband. We've been working together for over 25 years and have created a successful company together, and we're still married!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is fully undertaking the efforts involved in making the business a success. We get overwhelmed, aren't sure what to prioritize, feel demoralized when things don't go well, and struggle with our mindset. We sometimes feel isolated, which is why having a coach to support us is one of the best ways you can invest in your business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Hire a coach. Not only will they give you strategies for success, but they will be supportive and encouraging.
  2. Don't try to manage your time - manage priorities instead. We all know that what we prioritize gets done, and it doesn't matter how much time you have available. If you do this, you'll find that even though you'll still have an endless to-do list, the most important items will get done first and will move your business forward.
  3. I often hear my clients say things like, "You won't believe it, but out of the blue, I had such and such happen." I want you to know that nothing happens out of the blue. Once you set your intention and start working towards it, the universe will align to help you get it. Receive and own these moments of synchronicity, knowing that your hard work is paying off!
