What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer Virtual or In-Person yoga, meditation, spiritual counseling, classes, privates, group privates, and retreats.

Tell us about yourself

I'm an intuitive teacher who grew into living my yoga by practicing, teaching thousands of students for over 27 years, training yoga teachers, and running a yoga studio for almost 20 years. Yoga found me in my mid-thirties during a difficult time in my life.

Through yoga and meditation, I healed my whole self, my past and present, and created the life I deserved. My divine yoga journey has always guided me to give back and help others feel and find their light again.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Owning, operating, directing, and running teacher training in my yoga studio for 19 years.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being there in a healthy way for everyone: staff, students, budgets, hard fiscal times, and balancing that with being there for myself and my family.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Being willing to work 24/7. You don't get a day off.
  2. Don't bite off more than you can do or afford. Start small.
  3. Keep it authentic to why you opened it and lead with your heart.
