What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business produces cold-pressed juice. Our customers are people who love transparent products with ethical processes. Our demographic are women and men 25-50 leading busy lives and needing nutrients on the go.
Tell us about yourself
I'm an ex-football player with a passion for health and wellness. We had an opportunity to open a small retail shop next to our favorite yoga studio. We now service approximately 1000 acts up and down the west coast and Canada.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing people's lives change as they incorporate our product into their daily routines. Our customer base is truly the heart and soul of the business.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Learning adversity and not being afraid to make some tough decisions quickly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- If you believe in your product, commit wholeheartedly.
- Invest in people who are smarter than you.
- Methodically build out your customer base, don't try to be everywhere at once.
