What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a new wave of childcare we like to call "FUNcare"! We are dedicated to the development of the 5 and under crowd through movement-based learning! We teach while we play!

Tell us about yourself

I have always loved kids but realized it was my calling about 5 years ago. Wanting to get my daughter socialized turned into a journey to where we are now! No daycares had openings, so I saw a need and acted on it. We started with watching two little ones and have grown into three locations. I was also diagnosed as autistic in June of 2022. It's been a very emotional and enlightening year. 2022 and 2023 are definitely filled with gratitude for everything I have.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Just proving to myself that I can do it. It took blood, sweat, and tears, but I did it.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Worrying about what others think and trying so hard to please everyone.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Look up your field online and start taking steps to make it happen. Don't listen to neigh sayers. Just take the steps and stay focused. You can do it. I promise.
