What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an accredited Women in Leadership Coach, and I am passionate about changing the world by helping more women step into positions of power and leadership within themselves, their careers, and their communities. I coach women who want to be leaders, want to influence positive change, and want a seat at the table where decisions are being made that impact our lives, communities, and worlds.
Tell us about yourself
Seven years ago, I was completely lost in the Bermuda triangle of grief (they say everything happens in 3's). I was spiraling out of control as I tried to deal with loss. The loss of my mother, my friendship and marriage of 20 years, and the pain of childhood abuse. I realised that the biggest traumas in my life became my biggest strength, my Power of 3, and I wanted to show other women that we are held back from realising our full potential in so many ways.
This world is full of male, narcissistic leaders that lead with ego and destroy environments, cultures, and lives. The more women we can get into positions of power to lead, the more successful our economies, our communities, and Mother Nature will be too.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is starting this business.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Consistency and discipline. These are the two words that can make or break your business. That and the self-belief to keep going.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just start.
- Get a mentor or a coach to allow you to create freely and hold you accountable for making your dreams a reality.
- Outsource the things you are not good at.
