What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a brand/graphic designer who services those who need to improve their branding. My customers are people who aspire to have their products in store, so their branding has to sell itself.

Tell us about yourself

I started graphic design when I was 18/19. I’ve always loved being on the computer! I played the Sims all the time, Dinner Dash, etc., so I decided to learn how to make YouTube intros since I had a YouTube channel, and it went big from there! I had a lash + jewelry business, so I filmed BTS content to share knowledge with my followers. So I’ve always had a business and a passion for graphics, so I went into actually designing projects for other brands (for each brand I had of my own, I did the full branding). What motivates me each day? Being able to help brands get closer to their own goals and dreams. I would love to visit stores and see the brands that I designed for in there selling out!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to teach over 1000 people graphics in the past 3 years.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Pushing through when you just don’t see the need as to why keep going. You’ll have your days where you just want to give up, but remember God didn’t bring you this far, show you things just for you to give up!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Walk by faith & not by sight; you won’t see much “good” through this journey, but trust when it’s good, it’s GREAT.
  2. Don’t wait on others.
  3. Don’t seek validation from those close to you. Start a business because YOU want to provide something to others.
