What's your business, and who are your customers?
We bake tarts and scones upon receiving orders. The customers can order online, and we bake. It is a simple process.
Tell us about yourself
I run this business with my sister. We love tarts and scones. We bought many scones here in Calgary and baked many of them. Now, we decided to bake for people who love those bakeries.
We wanted to have various choices for scones. For the tart, our favourite tart is a pecan tart, so that is on the menu as well.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
When people enjoy our food and are-order them is the best. Those people and moments are the most significant accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The advertisements are very hard. We are unsure what is the most powerful and effective for those who do not know we are here for them.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
1. Be prepared.
2. Be consistent.
3. Keep doing something new.
Anything else you'd like to share?
I would like to share that we bake for locals like bake for my family. We bake exactly the same way to treat our families.
