What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a relationship and personal development coach specializing in Emotional Intelligence. I write for Medium, NewsBreak, and Quora, and I have also published one book.

Tell us about yourself

I have survived both physical and psychological abuse, and I want to awaken, inspire, and empower other people to live the life they love. I think it is essential that we stop living on autopilot. Increasing emotional intelligence provides the confidence, empathy, and communication skills necessary to thrive.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

By biggest accomplishment is simply helping people. I have spoken and taught at large events and published a book, but my purpose in life is to help other people realize their value and worth.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about owning a business is knowing I am solely responsible for my own success. I work seven days a week, and that is ok because I am doing what I am passionate about. For my business to succeed, I have to pour blood, sweat, and tears into it, but I also have to realize my limitations.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Start now with what you have because you will never be ready. Have the courage to fail and make mistakes and learn from those experiences. Finally, do what you are passionate about and let go of what other people think.
