What's your business, and who are your customers?

Lethal Legal is a virtual intellectual property law firm. We help entrepreneurs secure rights to their brand and put more money back in their pockets. We work with all different types of service and product-based businesses.

Tell us about yourself

When I graduated from law school, I was offered firm jobs with a minimal salary and the promise of 70+ hour work weeks. It didn't sound appealing. I knew I wanted time, location, and money freedom. So, I decided to bet on myself and do things my own way. Now, I get to help people just like me achieve the same thing. I've been in the shoes of my clients, and it's an honor to be able to protect what they work so hard to build. It's not just about a brand; it's about their life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is staying true to myself. When you put on the "CEO" hat, it's easy to get caught up in how you "should" be, act, dress, etc. But the real magic lies in staying true to yourself.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The fact that everything is on you. Your success, your failure, your ups and downs. It's ALL on you. This can be reassuring but also can be very heavy at times. It's a lot of weight to carry, which is the hard part. But if things aren't going the way you want them to, the power to change it is also in your hands. And that can be rewarding.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Bet on yourself, always. You are your biggest asset.
Don't overthink things. You can always pivot. The first step is to just put yourself out there.
The qualities that you've been shamed for your entire life are the exact qualities that will make you successful. Don't force yourself into a box you don't belong.
