What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a High-Performance coach that helps women dentists/entrepreneurs lead their lives, their teams, and their mission.

Tell us about yourself

I have been coaching for over three decades, although full-time now for only three years. I was in the corporate world, believing in this lie: "I don't love what I do, but I love that it enables me to do what I love" Coaching was a jobby because I was too scared to trust that I was good enough, capable to go all in. My mom challenged me on this lie in a way that only a mom can - Leah - why don't you just do what you love? My mom passed three years ago, and although she never got to see me go all in, I do it every single day in her honor.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Changing lives, saving lives, and re-introducing people to themselves.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The search for balance. Knowing all of it is available and choosing in abundance.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Clarity - clarity in who you are. The clarity in the business. Knowing who you are, who you serve, why you serve them, and how you can help is and was, for me, the missing piece. Most people start with what to do.
  2. Charge your worth. Don't undersell yourself. If you have it in you to bring it to the world, then the world will exchange money for the value you offer.
  3. Never stop learning, growing, and shifting. Expect adversity and honor the struggle.
