What's your business, and who are your customers?

Lcubed is a coaching and consulting team helping organizations and leaders adapt and thrive. The approach is unique and provides strategic clarity and team enablement by leveraging the Adaptive Transformation Framework™. Tell us about yourself

I love a good puzzle. After witnessing the confusion that ensued after new technology systems were integrated into offices in the early 2000s, I saw an opportunity to establish effective processes that support employees and businesses grappling with evolving technology. Then a pattern emerged: internal teams kept failing to communicate with one another in the wake of change. To respond, I founded Lcubed Consulting. We help companies align people, processes, and technology to utilize agility as a strategic advantage and acknowledge change is a business constant.

The secret sauce to success is leveraging key elements of Project Management, Process Performance Management, Internal Controls, and Organizational Change Management to build teams with the skills and capabilities to drive strategic results. Lcubed set the stage for me to become a #1 best-selling author, Keynote Speaker and Video Podcast host. There are so many ways to make an impact, and so much fun figuring them out... I told you I like a good puzzle!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Lcubed was found during an economic downturn and continues to make an impact 13 years later!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The roller coaster ride! It is also one of the best parts of owning a business. I like to consider that I am designing the ride, but sometimes there are unexpected loops... hang on, it's part of the fun.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

First, get clear on why you want to start the business. It's important to have a constant to test new ideas and challenges against. It helps you stay true to your purpose.

Second, have a plan. Know what you want to accomplish.

Third, accept the plan will not become a reality. You will change what you do and how you do it! The key is being open to experimenting with ideas, learning, and moving forward!
