What's your business, and who are your customers?
I support the mom who seeks mental wellness for her child thru curated soul-enriching experiences. Imagine creating freedom, clarity, and ease in your life, even amidst chaos; that's where I come in!
Tell us about yourself
I have always had the desire to be an entrepreneur; it is seemingly in my blood. My true passion came to light as I began my motherhood journey. When my oldest daughter was only a toddler, we saw signs of mental health challenges, and I dug into finding ways to support her health in the best ways possible. Along the path of supporting her, I quickly learned that I would be unable to support her to the best of my abilities unless I supported myself as well. This is how I learned the importance of soul care. Soul care changed my life. By finding ways to connect to my intuition and support my holistic health, I was able to shift from burnout and overwhelm to the incredible life I live today! I pour this inspiration into my Empowerment Coaching and all the work I do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is trusting my intuition to guide me and my business each day. This was a huge change from the perfectionist ways that I used to have. But when I discovered meditation and how to tune into my intuition, my whole life and my business changed. I was able to leave my long-time corporate job and become a full-time entrepreneur, which was always my dream. I'm really proud of this accomplishment!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things for me as a business owner is learning to embrace the pivot. There's so much power in pivoting, but at the moment, it often feels like defeat. Learning to spot the pivots, or the need to make a move, is one of my most challenging works in progress but also one of my biggest areas for growth & expansion.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Never doubt your dream - You were given your dream for a reason, and it's yours alone to nurture and believe in.
- Ask for help - You don't need to have all the answers; no one does. There's power & strength in asking for help, and it makes others feel good when you ask them for support. Lean into the support that's available to you.
- Look for your next right step - I love a roadmap and always strive to have all the answers. This simply doesn't exist. When you can learn to stop looking for the whole path to reveal itself to you and focus on the next right step, you'll always be headed in the right direction.
