What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide professional executive and leadership coaching to individual leaders, co-leaders, and leadership teams in SMEs.

Tell us about yourself

After 25 years in the technology industry, I pivoted to my second career as a coach because I love helping people grow through nurture and empowerment. I do this by listening and asking curious and calibrated questions to help discover the true vision of my clients, unearthing what's really going on, to create the best plan to get them there; then, I hold them to account for what they've said is important. I don't prescribe any particular methodology; I use personally-proven tools and techniques to meet individual needs. I love what I do.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having worked with many people, at various stages of growth, across many industries, seeing them grow and achieve their goals is a great privilege and source of satisfaction for me.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. There are ups and downs, but that's all part of the fun! Diligence and staying focussed on the longer term help carry you through the tough times.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  2. Write down your plan.
  3. Hold people to account.
