Synclarity By Presidential Lifestyle - Kiné Corder

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kiné Corder, CEO of Synclarity By Presidential Lifestyle, located in Henderson, NV, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Have you ever felt alone in business even though you were working with a team of people? What about feeling misunderstood by your leadership team or your employees? Many of the companies we've worked with stated these two things as their top challenges in business. Getting to a place where you can trust your team, facilitate clear understanding on both ends, and work together successfully is a quest. You don't have to go on this quest alone.

Whether you are the CEO, on the leadership team, or part of the contributing team, you've likely felt alone, misunderstood, or feared the consequences of making a business mistake. We at Presidential Lifestyle understand these feelings. That's why we created "synclarity." It's an all-in-one solution for companies with remote teams that want to hit both their topline and bottom line targets by fostering trust, understanding, and productivity while measuring employee engagement.

We guide companies with 100 - 1,000 employees through this synclarity quest using a proven step-by-step formula for adapting to change and performing at your highest level so you can reach your idea of personal and professional prosperity. It doesn't happen overnight, but when the synclarity system is implemented correctly, companies quickly retain employees because they feel cared about, which in turn inspires them to care more about the company.

After working with us, companies have a more clearly defined company vision and a direct path to reaching it. Employees have increased mental clarity and a renewed sense of purpose to reach their goals while helping their company reach theirs.

Tell us about yourself

As a former Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor, I realized the CEOs I worked with in my practice needed help with more than just stock picks and retirement numbers. They were stressed and fearful that their company's vision would never come to life. After years of hearing these complaints, in 2016, I shifted to therapy and started working with CEOs on mental health challenges like burnout and imposter syndrome. This support gave CEOs the mental clarity and stamina needed to handle business challenges, but there was still a missing piece.

At the same time, my life partner was working on collecting data from and for CEOs to help them become a thought leader in their respective industries and also help them determine how to recruit and retain the right team members. The clarity the CEOs received from collecting, analyzing, and utilizing this data helped them reach their goals faster and more efficiently. However, they were often too tired and overwhelmed to make the necessary changes.

In 2021, we decided to merge our companies because we hated seeing CEOs struggle with a fixable problem that was progressively getting worse as they continued to be ignored. After merging our talent and resources, we co-founded synclarity, an all-in-one employee engagement and mental health system that helps remote teams hit both their topline and bottom line targets by fostering trust, understanding, and productivity while measuring employee engagement.

Our mission is to give every human being mental clarity and a sense of purpose. We do this by bringing mental health into the workplace in order to remove the stigma, making it easily accessible and highly sought after.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I think my partner and I would both say our biggest accomplishment hasn't happened yet. We have such a specific vision and mission that we know will change the world. This makes anything we've done in the past pale in comparison.

I realize that answer is taking the easy way out, so I'll oblige by saying my biggest accomplishment has been shifting and pivoting along the way to develop synclarity. We could have stayed at our jobs; we could have said that challenge is someone else's to conquer, and we could have kept our businesses in their old form and felt some successes. Because we were willing to be uncomfortable for a little while, sacrifice, gain clarity, and put our vision for the world in front of our immediate needs, our biggest accomplishment has been being obedient and committed to our shared vision.

Many people give up or doubt themselves. For us, neither of those is an option, and it's an accomplishment to be that focused and connected to a vision.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

If I had to narrow down the hardest part of owning a business, I'd refer to what I said earlier: staying connected to the vision and believing that it will happen if you just keep shifting is hands down the hardest part for many people.

I also want to add that "PEOPLE" often make business hard. You have to depend on vendors, employees, customers, and yourself. That's a lot of people, personalities, and problems in the way of making money and making a difference. If we could make money without any people involved, that would be ideal. Lol! But since that's unrealistic and selfish, I'll take the next best thing – making money by pouring into people the necessary measures that make them A JOY TO WORK WITH.

How would it feel to work with someone who was a joy to work with and to know that they think you are also a joy to work with too? What a feeling, right?

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

When I speak to business owners, I always talk about overcoming fear, either-or thinking, and loneliness. So the three tips I would give would be:

  1. Understand what you want, get very clear, and stand unapologetic for it.
  2. Decide what parts of yourself will get you there and amplify those parts to the highest version.
  3. Decide what you'll need to give up, add to, or do to get where you're going. Simply put, delete anything in your way, delegate your challenges, and do what needs to get done by you by honing the best parts of you.
If you do these things, you will better understand your vision and yourself, as well as the team you need to help you get there.
