Life of Ease, Love and Freedom - Kim Massale Coaching

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kimberly Massale, Founder of Kim Massale Coaching LLC., located in Boulder, CO, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am an entrepreneur and feminine freedom coach who supports female business owners who are ready to break out of deficit mindsets and hustle culture and, instead, drop into trusting and embodying feminine flow in their businesses to create abundance and space for what really matters - presence, creativity, play, connection, spirituality, health, and wellness.

Tell us about yourself

I got into the psychotherapy field by accident. I had no idea that it would turn into a super successful career. In fact, I had no idea I liked business until I landed in it and started growing a business organically. Over the last few years, I was able to break out of a limiting 9-5 agency position and start and grow my business to a 300K+ income with 12 Independent Contractors working for me.

I love creating; I thrive off of being in my integrity and anything related to enlightenment. The more I develop as a human, the more my business naturally grows. I truly love supporting other women in breaking out of the box, out of internalized toxic patriarchal and societal structures, both in their lives and businesses.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would have to say the most exciting part of growing my business has been creating the freedom to be present with my children, my partner, and myself. I have been able to continually grow to the point that I am working between my children's school schedule (9 am - 3 pm) and still have time to do yoga and run during that time as well. I only have about seven client hours a week and get to do all the fun parts of my job while outsourcing what I don't love. I make enough money to be able to go on three-week-long vacations with my family multiple times a year and take sabbaticals for myself as well. My partner gets to be a stay-at-home dad, and we are working towards early retirement.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest part of being a business owner is holding your own boundaries. Because I love running and growing my business, it can be really hard not to constantly be focused on growing. There is always more possibility, and at times, you have to close the laptop and be present with yourself outside of your business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create from what energizes you, not what will make money.
  2. Simplify, outsource, and automate. As you grow, you will be thankful that things are simple.
  3. Stay in your integrity. When you are in your integrity, you are magnetic and joyful, and everyone that works for you and with you is happy.
