Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business services but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Viktoria Yukhnenko, Development Advisor at KeyGroup, located in Hong Kong, China.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
KeyGroup is a digital growth company that helps businesses take their first steps in the industry or stay afloat even in the toughest of times. We provide a full range of services to enhance a company's performance and efficiency and focus on both long-term and short-term profits. Marketing, legal and financial services, public and investor relations, and many, many other services that lead a business from scratch to success. We focus on the real results our client expects and can achieve with us. Analyzing a company from different angles allows us to find its pain points and develop solutions that hit the mark.
Tell us about yourself
Compliance with the requirements of today's business environment is something I pay special attention to. It makes sense because I'm working on the success of an international company, and I really need to think through every step to always stay ahead of the curve. In this case, the KeyGroup team helps me do things right. There are a lot of faces and a lot of opinions in the company, which forms a whole new approach to our work. And that's what I really like: the people I see every day online or in person – my colleagues – motivate me and give me the energy and emotional resources to work better, more professionally, and faster.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a development advisor, I would highlight two accomplishments that make me proud of our work. First, the way KeyGroup self develops every day. We connect entrepreneurs and experts and make that collaboration as beneficial as possible for now and in the long run. I am very proud of what we do and have done for companies around the world. Small startups, global companies in crisis, international enterprises, and personal brands, we are a very versatile team that works with you regardless of your size, location, or current situation. Over the years, we have reached a new level of expertise in all areas of development that businesses need, and I can say that we know how to grow companies and make them profitable.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Personally, I think the hardest thing for a business owner to do is to solve problems that are not up to you. Today's global business environment is more fragile and unstable than ever before. Economic and life challenges, intertwined labor markets, and uneven regional development illustrate just how difficult the current situation is. It seems difficult to maintain a positive attitude and grow a business when surrounded by problems that cannot be solved by oneself.
However, the modern market of services offers a lot of possibilities to overcome all the challenges it faces. In this case, I'm talking about professional software, consulting, and even companies that work for you and help you solve current problems. For example, KeyGroup has been helping companies since the beginning of the global pandemic, and now we can see the result of our work – our clients continue to work and grow no matter what the crisis was in 2019.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Don't be afraid of the challenges you may face because you won't be alone. Take advantage of all the opportunities the business community offers you, and always learn new things that will develop you and make your business stronger. My advice may seem mundane, but it works, and it does it well. Moreover, I would encourage the entrepreneurial sector to stay aware of current business trends, such as business relocation. This solution is very popular among entrepreneurs right now, and it can be really beneficial for your case.
