What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a System & Soul Certified Coach. I help senior leadership teams experience breakthroughs by creating clarity and control of the organization in a safe space. Businesses, non-profits, or any organization tends to drift towards chaos and complexity over time, and it makes accomplishing their goals incredibly difficult, but it doesn't have to be! The System & Soul framework gives senior leaders a clear roadmap to follow so that they can stay focused.

I also offer one-on-one performance coaching for leaders that want to unlock their true potential, grow, and bring their whole selves to the work they're passionate about. I help them achieve their goals without sacrificing their values or who they are.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up with an entrepreneurial father and mother and absorbed that spirit early in life. While in middle school, I started having my mom make an extra lunch that I would sell almost every day and would sell Pokémon cards for vending machine money.

As I got older, I discovered a love for helping leaders because I saw that they often were expected to help others and themselves. After selling my first company to another agency, I helped them go fully remote for the first time, expand their employment globally, and grow their revenue by almost double in 2 years during COVID.

During that time, I self-implemented a framework at that other agency and saw its impact was huge! However, I later found the System & Soul Framework and wished I had found it earlier because I would have been able to help those organizations achieve more growth with less pain. I love helping leaders to be better and gain clarity in a safe space as they chase their goals and discover who they were created to be. I genuinely believe this is a core purpose for why I'm on this earth, and I want to bring out the best in as many leaders as I can!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

With no prior experience and no clients, I started my own company at 27, scaled it to 6 figures with a team of 5 in less than three years, and eventually sold it to another agency almost five years later.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Not having someone who can tell you with certainty that you are making the right or wrong decisions. It can feel very lonely and frustrating.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a mentor or coach - you need someone outside of the business who will be honest with you.
  2. Create a defined selling process - being able to tell prospective clients/customers how to buy from you reduces perceived risk and takes the guesswork out from you so you can focus on their needs instead of your process.
  3. Set 3 key wins that you'll accomplish each day, and then write down three key wins at the end of every day. This will build momentum and help you keep a positive perspective over the long journey.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Create your own definition of success and filter every goal, decision, and sacrifice through it. Trying to achieve someone else's definition of success is a recipe for failure, frustration, and depression. This is why, as a System & Soul coach, I recommend you should build a roadmap that defines your success by outlining where you're going, by when, and why you're going there as well as your Hedgehog (the thing you can be the best in the world at, that you're passionate about, and drives your economics) that can keep in front of you at all times.
