What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help writer's struggling with writer's block kick their limiting beliefs and get unstuck with a robust writing course that teaches valuable lessons, activities, coaching, and a strategy for writing their manuscripts in as little as four months.

Tell us about yourself

I got started organically several years ago. As a writer, I wanted to find a platform to help other writers. I noticed several groups online needed to be more forthcoming with how to start or the necessary resources to publish. So I have been supporting writers and providing them with the information required to write their manuscripts to completion.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I developed my course Shatter The Block: The Ultimate Hack to Defeating Writer's Block. It was a labor of love, and it teaches writers, no matter what level, to write their manuscripts with a step-by-step video-guided course.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Most business owners waiver because they are still looking for an immediate return on investment. Patience is the key. Keep putting in the work, and don't give up.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be patient, and customers will come.
  2. Build trust and establish a community. Don't worry about followers and hard sales.
  3. Step outside your family and friends circle and engage with people who need your products.
