What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a voice coach & podcasting mentor who works with online business owners & podcasters on harnessing the power of their voice to make money doing what they love. We also provide podcast production & management services.

Tell us about yourself

I started as an Actor & Voiceover artist and performed for over 20 years. In 2012 I started coaching Actors and then transitioned into working with online business owners and podcasters to unlock the power of their voices to take their businesses to the next level.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

So many accomplishments! Most recently, I launched my new podcast, The Voice of your Brand Podcast, and got ranked #1 in marketing, which was something I had on my vision board for over a year.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Pivoting and evolving. It can be scary to move out of your comfort zone, but the rewards are totally worth it. The online industry is always changing, so it's important to evolve over time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take action. You will learn as you go, but it's important to start taking those first steps toward what you want.
  2. Keep going even when you feel like giving up. Just keep going. That's how I got to the #1 spot on Apple Podcasts. I didn't stop until I got to #1.
  3. Evolve. Don't be afraid to move in a new direction if you feel called to do so. Trust your intuition and make shifts in the expansion of you and your company.
