What's your business, and who are your customers?
We hand-make and dye bamboo apparel. Our best selling products are headband and neck gaiter. Recently our best customers have been men buying headbands.
Tell us about yourself
I have a degree in textile design and have always wanted to create every day. My business is inspired by my lifestyle. I wanted to create multi-functional eco-friendly clothing that would work anywhere from a hiking trail to the office.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Almost 20,000 sales on Etsy with 4-star average reviews. I feel really good that not only can we sell products, but we are making quality products that people like.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The slow days. Being inspired to keep going when things are not going in the direction you want.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make a good plan. It's ok if you deviate from the plan. Have a positive attitude.
