What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is in voiceover and sound production. My customers are writers, storytellers, directors, and producers who are looking to add voice & sound to their games, podcasts, commercials, training scripts, books, children's content, or project.

Tell us about yourself

I like to say I started in high school theater because that's when I began to learn more about acting. I went to a Community College, workshops, and classes for acting. Then, I started auditioning for different projects and practiced recording. Every day, I can't wait to work with other people and learn about the world, curriculum, projects, and stories they have to share.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Meeting others in my field, working with veterans in the industry, signing posters at a local convention for the first time, and holding a physical copy of a DVD & game I've worked on are some of my biggest accomplishments.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Auditioning and taxes.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

If you're thinking about acting:

  1. Take classes & workshops.
  2. Audition!
  3. Begin working on a demo reel, whether a commercial, game or animation.
  4. Listen to other talents and practice, practice, practice
