Leader's Ambition provides Executive & Leadership coaching to organizations and individuals wanting to bring out the best in themselves as leaders.
Tell us about yourself
With an interest in leadership, I worked in organizations providing leadership training and coaching. I enjoy the one-on-one aspect of the coaching work and have developed my own business with coaching at the core of my offering. I enjoy working with leaders as they grow and develop, taking on greater challenges as their careers progress.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have been self-employed for 24 years. There have been ups and downs, and I have "stayed the course." I believe in myself and the work that I do, which has kept me going.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Wearing many hats, marketing, accounting, and networking in addition to doing the actual work of the business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Develop multiple income streams so if one dries up, you still have others to keep you afloat. It's all about cash flow!
- Subcontract if you need to, as that can help you get up and going.
- Believe in yourself!!!
