What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an Intuitive Life and Success Coach. I work with individuals and teams who are looking to walk that road to greatness. Who are ready to develop a healthy, positive mindset. To create supportive habits. To unleash their personal power. They're ready to love their life.
Tell us about yourself
I'm one of those people who spent their my looking for answers. I learned so many things along the way. I started out in the Beauty Industry and became obsessed with Customer Service and Team Building. I became a certified Reiki Master, Transpersonal Counseling, and Yoga teacher, just to name a few. People are amazing, resilient, and more valuable than they know. We've all been through hard stuff, and I love to help them discover their greatness. And the gifts their life has brought them. It can seem illusive, but it's really not. I get to watch them grow and thrive and teach me a thing or two. We get to do it all with a lot of heart and a splash of humor.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Doing my work, my way. There are a lot of teachers and coaches out there telling us this is the way. There are a million ways. I like to meet people where they're at. I like to incorporate the magical and practical in a way that works for them. That's what has brought me success. Me being me and encouraging, no insisting, that you be you! We have to know ourselves to be ourselves, so that is part of the work.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Remembering that it's ok to take a day off. Being a solopreneur means being the solo person making it happen. Being in charge within a team or being the owner of any size company sometimes has overwhelming responsibilities. There are times when there are more demands, more getting out there, and more to do. And that's ok. It's part of the process. It's important to take a breath.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know yourself so you can be your best self. That's what people need. You being you.
- Do the work to overcome your limited thinking about yourself and the world around you. You got this.
- Give yourself time to hear yourself think and be. Give yourself time in between things and take actual days off and vacations.
