What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a craft coffee roastery, and cafe currently open every day from 9-4. We have hosted various community-inspired events such as jazz, poetry, and a myriad of private events. We are currently in the process of setting up a nighttime experience which, we look forward to launching hopefully this spring!

Tell us about yourself

Being intimately involved in small business has spanned the breadth of my career. My favourite parts of these experiences are the opportunities to get creative and the fast-paced nature of small business creation.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I really love seeing the public find a new place to build new memories and have great experiences!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The toughest part of being involved in the business has been dealing with the virus.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Start small, orient yourself with people who are already doing.
