What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a revenue strategist and business model designer. My clients are small business owners and association executives struggling with revenue growth and cash flow. I help them develop new streams of revenue, increase profits, and optimize their business model using sustainable systems and marketing automation.
Tell us about yourself
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by how people package and monetize their gifts, talents, strengths, and abilities. I always knew that I wanted to work in the business world and help others succeed, so after many years of working in customer service, marketing, and sales roles for various companies, I decided to start my own business as a revenue strategist and business model designer.
What motivates me every day is seeing my clients achieve their goals and create lasting change in their businesses. I am passionate about helping business owners grow and succeed, and getting to do this every day is what truly fuels my motivation and passion.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of my biggest accomplishments as a business owner has been developing new revenue streams for my clients and growing their businesses in sustainable and scalable ways. I have helped many businesses achieve significant growth over the past few years. It has been incredibly rewarding to see the results of my work and know that I am helping them succeed in their businesses.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Keeping up with the rapid pace of change. As a business owner, I must constantly adapt and evolve to keep up with the ever-changing market landscape. This can be challenging at times, but it is also one of the most rewarding aspects of running my own business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Study business model design, economics, game theory, coding, psychology, and the language of capital. Successful entrepreneurs are constantly challenging themselves and growing, learning new skills, and expanding their knowledge base.
- Nurture your network. Networking is key to connecting with potential customers, partners and investors, so it is important to make time to attend networking events, reach out to people in your industry, and engage with others both in person and online through social media.
- Look for ways to align people, the planet, and profitability. This means setting sustainable growth goals and strategies that are not only focused on revenue and profits but also consider the impact of your business on the environment, community, and overall well-being. By taking a holistic approach to growth and success, you can create a more meaningful business model that truly makes a positive difference in the world.
