What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Esthetics/Skincare, including massages. My customers are people who desire skincare products and services, and massage and rebalancing chakras and healing.
Tell us about yourself
After a very nasty divorce, I was an unhoused single mother attending school. I graduated at the top of my class with honors. I later took my skills, knowledge, and expertise in the beauty industry and created my first skincare product, later creating and launching my entire brand. Soon after, I open my first Beauty Spa and Wellness Center. I'm motivated every day by my clients and my passion for seeing my client's skin healthy and vibrate. My children are also a source of motivation for me and the drive behind my accomplishments.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is launching my skincare line and opening Jyvae Spa and Wellness, located in Kennesaw, Georgia.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Long hours and not enough time in the day to do my own personal self-care regimen.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do thorough research on your desired niche.
- Take classes in your niche if and when necessary to fine-tune your craft.
- Stay focused on your "why" and goals, and never let anyone tell you it can't be done.
